Tottenham Hotspur's Heung-min Son will miss the club's 2024-2025 English Premier League (EPL) Round 7 match against Brighton & Hove Albion after injuring his hamstring.

“It is unlikely that Son Heung-min will be able to join us for the away game against Brighton,” Tottenham manager Anzhi Postecoglou said on the club's website on Friday (June 5).

Postecoglou added: “It is unlikely that Heung-Min Son will play against Brighton. He is pushing hard to recover from his injury, but it's too soon for him to be back in action this weekend.”

Son was substituted after 71 minutes of the 2024-2025 UEFA Europa League 토토사이트 (UEL) home match against Garabagh (Azerbaijan) on March 27 after complaining of thigh pain.

Although the injury didn't appear to be serious, it raised concerns for fans when Son missed the EPL 6th round match against Manchester United on March 29 and the Europa League match against Ferencvarosi (Hungary) on April 4.

As a result, South Korea national team coach Hong Myung-bo left Son Heung-min out of the roster for the two October A matches.

This meant that Son would miss three consecutive matches, as he would not be able to play in the seventh round of the regular season against Brighton on Sunday.
